|Self luminous Exit Lights|
- No battery - No electrical - guarantied for up to 20 years of continuous operation
Suntext has delivered EXIT Signs for A.P.Moller’s new oil rig "Maersk Innovator" and its sister rig being built at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea.
The EXIT Signs are self luminous, internally illuminated by sealed tritium gas light sources.
They require no electrical power, wiring or batteries, and no maintenance.
They need no external light or power for activation, and are guarantied for up to 20 years of continuous operation.
The advantages of using Tritium powered EXIT Lights are that every unit is self contained, just mount it where it is needed, and it is working.
No power, neither mains nor low voltage back up is needed.
No electric wiring so the risk of electrical sparks igniting gas or fluids is eliminated. In case of one unit failing, it will have no influence on the other units, only the failing unit has to be exchanged.
The EXIT Lights have no power consumption, no switches, they are always on.
The EXIT Lights are in an aluminium corrosion resistant housing, press formed to prevent tampering, with non glare polycarbonate face-plate and window. They are suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres and wet locations.
